QUALITY & FOOD SAFETY

We are a USDA facility and it is the policy of this company to produce wholesome food with the highest of food safety standards.

In order to achieve these standards, Taste Traditions is guided by the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Food Code.  In addition, all state and local municipal codes are strictly enforced, along with Taste Traditions Hazard Analysis Critical Control Plans (HACCP), Food Safety Policy, Procedures and Standards Manual, as well as annual third party audits.   Taste Traditions is certified SQF Level 2 by the Safe Quality Food Institute.

We have developed and implemented strong food safety systems, which we continually work to improve.  We use science-based risk identification and processes and systematically assess and control factors that could potentially compromise ingredients, packaging, manufacturing processes, or finished products.  We train our employees to emphasize continuous improvement of product quality and safety.

Our Food Safety process is monitored by operations personnel, managed, and validated by our Quality Assurance management.  Inspection and process verification occurs daily by the USDA/FSIS inspection and by our Quality Assurance team prior to releasing product into commerce. 

Taste Traditions will continue to introduce new policies and procedures which place safety of our products at the very forefront.  To ensure that ingredients used in our products meet our food safety policy, we require suppliers to uphold the same high standards of product quality and safety.
