The test kitchen at Taste Traditions was busy this summer developing three hearty new soups for our soup line. Research shows that people eat soup year round. We created some favorites for those soup lovers and ones that would work well as year-round soups for most menus.
Here’s a bit more about these new soups to whet your appetite. Our Steak, Potato and Mushroom Soup – This hearty and wholesome soup starts with sautéed celery and onions added to a rich cream-base. Chunks of tender beef, earthy sliced mushrooms and diced potatoes are folded in to make up this flavor packed, crowd-pleasing soup. Next, we have our Beer Cheese Soup – This smooth, cheesy, creamy soup is made using a hearty golden lager beer melded into a rich white cheddar cheese base. Blended garden vegetables and touch of Dijon mustard are then added to enhance this classic flavor profile. Lastly, we have for you, a Roasted Corn Chowder with Andouille Sausage – This one is a traditional thick cream-based soup is filled with roasted corn and chunky potatoes.
